These are just some of the initiatives we identified via a survey conducted in 2022. There are many more local, national and regional movements and initiatives that are not represented here.

Categorising geographical areas is always political and contested. We have organised initiatives by different regions (Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe, Oceania, South West Asia and North Africa). But we recognise both the cross-regional relationships of some initiatives and the political limitations of creating regional boundaries to classify them.
